Snake Canyon Adventure long Way Tour Itinerary

Snake Canyon or Wadi Bani Awf is so named because of its winding gorge, which looks like a snake from above. It is famous for its pleasantly cool waters during the summer, and in the winter the water is very cold.

The adventure begins in Wadi Bani Awf, which is famous for its fresh water pools and a dark cave that requires us to swim through it. There are 3 mountain drop-offs, ranging in height from 15 meters to 30 meters.

ITINIRARY

  • Day 01: Snake Canyon

• Depart Muscat early in the morning for the scenic drive to the Wadi Bani Awf.

• Tackle the 6 km Snake Canyon route featuring thrilling 25-meter abseils, natural pools, and moderate rock climbs—perfect for adventure seekers.

• Enjoy a traditional Omani lunch in a nearby village, recharging after your canyoning adventure.

• Check-in at Season Inn Balad Sayt

  • Day 02: Culture Tour

Misfat Al Abriyeen a charming mountain village known traditional mud-brick houses and lush date plantations & irrigation channels.

• Wake up to a simple and hearty breakfast prepared at the campsite.

• Drive to Misfat Al-Abreen. Head towards one of Oman’s most picturesque mountain villages nestled in the Al Hajar Mountains.

• Culture tour in Misfat Al Abreen. Explore the village’s mud-brick houses, ancient falaj irrigation system, and terraced plantations.

• Drive back to Muscat.

• You will be accompanied by professional English-speaking guide the whole time

• Comfortable and air-conditioned 4WD cars

• All participants must always follow instructions of the guide to ensure safety.

• All climbing gear will be provided.
