City Tour of Khasab & Wadi Qada

Drive through the different city districts of Khasab with its Old Town and modern New City. Visit of the grand Sultan Qaboos Mosque (only 09:00 – 11:00h open). Time for a short walk in the city. Further you will visit the Khasab fort, which was built by the Portuguese in the 17th century. After that we will drive to the Wadi Qada. At the end of the wadi in the village Tawi you can explore prehistoric rock carvings depicting camels, ships, and warriors, said to be more than 2.000 years old.

Half day mountain safari to Jebel Harim

Mountain Safari with our 4WD car to the Jebel Harim Mountains. The drive encompasses spectacular scenic routes through mountains and valleys, reaching a height of 1.784 m above sea level with attendant panoramic views. You will visit centuries old villages, the traditional Bait Al Qafl (old stone house), and the lush green natural park of Al Khalidiya with its many acacia trees. On the way back you can enjoy the fantastic view from the top of Khor Najid, one of the beautiful fjords in the Gulf of Oman. Fruits, Water, and soft drinks will be offered during the tour.

Overnight camping at the beach

We will transfer you by speedboat to a remote beach for the camping overnight in fully equipped camping tents. We will provide sleeping bags, blankets, mattress and pillows, bed sheets, generator & lights, plastic chairs & tables, traditionally majlis (carpet surrounded by cushions), camp shower, portable toilets etc. We offer Barbeque dinner at the beach and breakfast next morning.

Full day dhow cruise

Full day cruise to the fjord (Khor) Khor Sham with our traditionally decorated wooden dhow in azure water. The majestic fjord is surrounded by spectacular mountains and small white sandy beaches. At the entrance of the fjord our guests have the possibility to enjoy dolphin watching. The dhow will anchor near Telegraph Island and Seebi Island where our guests can enjoy swimming in pristine water together with colorful fish. During the cruise we offer soft drinks, fresh fruits, tea & coffee, and a warm lunch.
