Begin your adventure in Muscat, with three nights to savor the winter sun by a stunning beach. Next, head to the mountains for three nights, giving you ample time to explore the region as much or as little as you like. Enjoy the easy-going ‘Four Village Walk’ through ancient stone villages nestled beside lush green fields, set against the rugged backdrop of the Hajar mountains. Take time to explore the Nizwa souq, especially lively on Fridays during the livestock market.
Visit the impressive forts at Jabrin or Bahla, or take a longer day trip to the remote villages of Al Hamra and Misfat Al Abriyyin. You can even drive up to Oman’s Grand Canyon for unparalleled views. The vistas from your hotel alone are worth taking the time to simply sit back and admire. Continue to Wahiba Sands, Oman’s magnificent desert. Make stops at various points of interest along the way, including remote wadis. Spending two nights here allows for a deeper and more relaxed exploration.
On your second day, set off in your 4×4 for an in-depth adventure across Wahiba Sands, discovering the remarkable beauty of this unique part of Oman. Finally, return to Muscat for three nights of gentle relaxation and rejuvenation before heading home.

Spend your first three nights in Muscat, enjoying as much activity or relaxation as you desire. We can arrange a private half-day tour of Muscat for you, or you might prefer a snorkeling excursion to the Daymaniyat Islands.
Today, you will be met by your private driver/guide and transferred into the Omani mountains. You can opt to take the main road, or jazz up the experience by taking the off-road route via Wadi Bani Awf.
We suggest a leisurely morning walk, setting out on the ‘Four Village Walk’ which takes about two hours. You then visit a Rose Plantation before seeing the village of Wadi Bani Habib. Spend the afternoon at leisure.
Spend today at your leisure, embracing the ‘Slow Oman’ experience. Take time to relax by the pool and enjoy the stunning views from your hotel. If you wish, we can arrange a trip to the Jabal Shams region, about a two-hour drive away, to explore Oman’s breathtaking Grand Canyon.
Today, set off to Nizwa where you find one of the most impressive souks in this corner of Oman. We will first stop at Birkat Al Mouz, one of the most picturesque abandoned villages. For those with an interest in Omani forts, we can also stop at Jabrin Fort. Continue to Wahiba Sands where you will have a camel safari that evening.
Another night in Wahiba Sands will be a more leisurely way to experience this magical desert. Spend the day in a 4×4, exploring the vast desert from north to south.
Today, you will be driven to Muscat, via the superb Wadi Arbaeen. This is one of the lesser-known, yet superb wadis in Oman, and a perfect place to stop on your journey to Muscat.
Spend your final three nights, or longer if you wish, relaxing on the beautiful beaches of Muscat.
Enjoy a private transfer to the airport for your flight home.
